Senior PALS Transportation Program
PALS is an easy-to-use, affordable program that helps senior adults maintain their independence by providing transportation services to activities such as: grocery shopping, medical appointments, personal appointments, volunteer activities, and many more! We also offer a wheelchair-accessible van, featuring an easy entry/exit ramp for walkers.
Assistance to and through the door is available, as well as escort services that can accompany you to your appointment. Escort services have an additional fee of $10/hour.
PALS operates Monday — Friday,
9am—5pm
Cost: $8 one-way, $15 round-trip
All PALS fees cover rides within a 25-mile radius.
For every 10 miles over 25, there is a $5 surcharge.

Caregiver Support Group
JFCS offers a variety of caregiver support groups to help adult children of aging parents learn about community resources and ways to balance their needs with those of aging relatives. Job Seekers Resource Group

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Groups
A support group for anyone raising grandchildren or other relatives meets at the Main Public Library, 301 York Street, Centennial Room (lower Level).

Diabetes Support Group
This group is available for individuals with diabetes to have the chance to talk about having a chronic condition and share the ways they cope. The group is free to the public and will meet the third Monday of each month at 2 pm. Contact Hanna Cooper at (502) 452-6341 ext. 308.
Financial Literacy Coaching
