Klein Older Adult Services helps senior adults and their families maintain the highest quality of life possible.
Assessment
A specialist in aging will conduct a comprehensive assessment of cognitive skills, activities of daily living, social supports, medical and family history.
Counseling
Licensed clinical social workers provide counseling to individuals, families, and couples to help them overcome feelings of grief, depression, and anxiety; to deal with marital and general life issues; and to strengthen their ability to cope with the aging process.
In-Home Care Services
Klein Older Adult Services now offers In-Home Care services as part of a new JFCS Concierge Program in Louisville, Kentucky. The program is designed to promote independence and ensure safety for older adults in their home or alternative living situation. Client Care Managers will develop a Plan of Care with the family that best meets the individual’s needs. Arrangements will be made for caregivers to provide a variety of in-home services such as personal grooming, meal preparation, activities, respite, etc. For more information, call Mauri Malka at (502) 452-6341 ext. 250.
